Layered potato bake

Potato layered with egg and sour cream from the oven — a simple, filling family classic.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg potato
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 onions
  • 300 ml sour cream
  • salt, pepper, oil

Method

    Boil the potato and eggs in their skins, then cool and slice.

    Chop the onion and sauté in oil until translucent.

    Layer potato, egg, onion and sour cream in a buttered dish; season.

    Bake at 180 °C for 25-30 minutes until golden.
